The $12 clipper case that made me stop losing money on walk-ins

Three years ago I kept a spare clipper set in my trunk for house calls. Last month I left it in a client's garage after a late appointment and didn't realize it for two days. By then someone had snagged it, so I dropped $90 on a replacement. Now every walk-in gets a quick neck trim with that same spare set, and the case stays zipped on my front seat so I can't forget it. Any barbers out there got a system for keeping backup gear from walking off?

Three sets of blades and a label maker fixed this for me. I sharpied my name on every case and keeper in big letters. It's boring but nothing walks off anymore.

Man my whole system went out the window when I started doing mobile grooming for dogs. I had a spare clipper bag that I kept in the van and somehow it ended up in my buddies garage for a month. He thought it was his because he also does dog trims on the side. We only figured it out when we both showed up to the same job and had to share my main set. Now I just leave one pair in the van and one in the house and never bring both to the same place. Honestly its less about the case and more about not having two of anything that looks similar.
