Two clippers died on me in one week, third one for the road
Last week my Wahl clipper motor gave out mid-fade, then the backup Andis started pulling hair. Shop owner in Austin told me to strip them down and oil the blade bushings with clipper grease, not spray. The Wahl was dead for real, but the Andis runs smooth now. Anyone else run backups until they die or do you rotate on a schedule?

Man, that's brutal luck with the Wahl. Quick question though: how long were you running that thing before it gave out? I'm curious if it was just old age or if you're one of those guys who pushes clippers way past their prime.
