Vent: Taper brushes make me want to throw them across the shop

After 4 years of fighting with flimsy brushes on every fade in Phoenix, I tried a boar bristle brush with a metal handle last Tuesday and my blend lines came out cleaner with half the passes, so why did nobody tell me the brush weight actually matters that much, and what are you all using for tight skin fades?

...my buddy Marcus was literally about to yeet his whole kit into the dumpster behind the shop last month. He'd been fighting this one client's skin fade for like 45 minutes and the brush kept flexing and skipping on the tight parts near the ear. I finally tossed him my old metal handled one just to shut him up, and he did the whole transition in like three passes and just stood there staring at it. Now he won't shut up about how the extra weight keeps the bristles planted, especially on that super dry skin right above the temple. He's already ordered two backups, so I guess that's the real review.
