Just read that Myron Mixon once cooked a 1,200 pound hog for a single event
Found that wild stat in an old interview from the Memphis in May archives. Has anyone else come across a competition cook that massive?

Seriously? That's just a big farm animal, not like it's a new species or something. People have been raising huge livestock for ages (it's basically their whole job). I'd be more shocked if someone found a 1200 pound squirrel in their backyard.

A 1200 pound squirrel would definitely be more interesting. But like @sarah_bennett93 said, that hog size is still wild. How do you even feed something that big?
