Showerthought: The new self-checkout at the grocery store on Elm Street has a 'skip bagging' button that just makes people steal.
I watched a guy scan a $15 steak, hit the button, and drop it right into his backpack without paying. How is that even a feature? Has your store added something this dumb?

That skip button is basically an open invitation... Our store manager had to put a big sign right above it saying the area is watched. It cut down on the bold stuff pretty quick.

Actually saw a study on this. The signs saying you're being watched work better than hidden cameras. It stops the idea before it even starts.
