The coupon lady who made me rethink our whole appointment book
Had a customer last Tuesday wave a 20% off coupon from some third party app I never heard of, and she got real loud when I said we don't take those. Turns out she spent 15 minutes on the phone with her bank trying to dispute the charge before I even got a word in. Thing is, she wasn't mad about the money, she was mad that our website has a loyalty program but no mention that outside coupons don't apply. I checked our Google listing after she left and sure enough, there's a promo banner that links to that app. Took me an hour to update the site and socials, but also made me wonder how many other folks showed up expecting a deal and just walked out silently. Has anyone else dealt with third party coupon apps listing your business without permission? How do you even get removed from those things?

Those apps are a pain in the ass" is right, but which part gets you the most? The constant notifications or the part where you gotta log in again just to check one thing?
