The lemonade stand debate that held up my line
A kid set up outside and undercut our prices by a dollar, so everyone in line argued about supporting small shops vs. chain stores! It was so funny but really delayed the morning rush.

Actually used to think small shops were just being difficult. That kid with the cheaper lemonade showed me how much people really do care about where they spend. Now I get why those arguments happen.

Look, that warm fuzzy feeling buys lemonade once. But people still drive to Walmart because saving twenty bucks on groceries MATTERS more. We like the story way more than living it.

Ever wonder if that kid's lemonade stand actually changed minds or just made people feel good for a second. Like do they go back to the big store for groceries anyway because it's easier. Makes me question if people care about WHERE they spend or just like the IDEA of caring. Is it about price, or is it about TRUST and actually knowing who made your stuff. Really makes you define what you mean by people "caring".
