Warning: the $180 I dropped on no-slip shoes lasted 3 months and my feet are still mad
I work the front counter at a diner in Boise and bought the fancy "slip resistant" shoes everyone online raves about, $180 out the door at that place on Fairview. Three months of greasy floors and they split right at the seam, water coming through on every mop pass, while the $40 pair I grabbed at a workwear shop lasted me almost two years before this. Should have trusted the cheap ones and saved the cash, honestly. Anyone got a brand that actually holds up past six months on wet tile or am I just stuck rotating cheap pairs?
