A customer at my shop in Toledo handed me a bike with 4 locks on it and I still think about it
Last month a guy wheeled in a rusted cruiser with four U-locks on the frame, one on each wheel, and two on the seat post. He said he had lost all the keys over 3 years and asked if I could just cut them all off for $20. It took me 45 minutes with an angle grinder and the whole time he stood there eating a gas station hot dog. Now I always ask customers how they plan to lock up before I even touch the bike. What is the strangest lock job you have had to undo?
