Found a trick for stubborn bottom bracket cups that saved me 2 hours
Had a BB30 cup that was absolutely seized in an aluminum frame last week. Tried putting the frame in the freezer for 20 minutes then used a hair dryer on the shell - came out with just a regular socket and a breaker bar. Has anyone else tried the freezer trick or do you have a better method?

Freezer for 20 minutes, that really works?

Doesn't 20 minutes just give you a cold shell with a raw center though? I've had more luck with 3-4 minutes in boiling water from frozen, it keeps the texture way more even. Maybe it depends on what you're cooking, but for me the freezer trick always left things uneven.
