Just hit 500 brake bleeds in my shop log and it feels weird

Started counting after a bad bleed job cost me a customer back in March. Anyone else track a specific repair like this?

Tracking stuff like that can get in your head.

I started logging tire rotations after a comeback last year, and I'm at 1,237 now. It does mess with your focus if you think about the number while you're doing the job. I have to remind myself to just do the work the right way every single time.

Stick with it and don't let the number mess with your head. The real trick is knowing that quality work is what keeps that number from being a lie. If you start counting rotations just to hit a high number, you'll miss something important and end up with a comeback that sets you back to zero anyway. Focus on the torque specs and the pattern, not the count, and that record will just take care of itself.
