My $300 torque wrench set is the best money I ever spent in the shop

I bought the Park Tool TW-5.2 and a few other sizes after a carbon seatpost clamp got cracked. That was a $400 mistake for the customer. The set cost me about $300, but it pays for itself by stopping those 'oops' moments. I use it on every carbon part, suspension pivots, and stem bolts now. It takes the guesswork out and makes my work way more solid. What's your go-to tool that you can't work without anymore?

Park Tool's TW-5.2 is a torque driver, not a wrench.

Totally get this, had the same lightbulb moment after I over-tightened a brake caliper and scored a rotor. Bought a decent torque wrench and now I feel blind without it, especially for anything aluminum or carbon. It just kills that little voice in your head wondering if you cranked it too hard. Mine lives right on the bench, I grab it for bottle cage bolts even.

My old shop had a rule, torque spec or it doesn't leave the stand. It saved so many headaches on customer bikes with hidden damage. That policy is just good business.
