Pro tip: Always snap pictures before you box up a bike for warranty work, or you might end up covering the repair cost yourself.

Ever run into this? I had a cracked seat tube last year and took a bunch of photos with my phone, making sure the timestamp was on. When the shop tried to say it was my fault, I just emailed the pics over and they covered it.

Forget the epoxy, my guy. I once tried to fix a stripped pedal thread with a beer can shim and hope. Took a photo after the fact and it looked like a crime scene. Your timestamp trick is the kind of forward thinking that separates the pros from the people whose bikes are held together with zip ties and regret.

Man, I wish I was that smart. My version of that is usually just staring at the broken part while muttering swear words, then trying to glue it back together with the wrong kind of epoxy. By the time I remember to take a picture, it's covered in my fingerprints and dust and looks like I ran it over with my car. Solid move with the timestamp, that's genius level stuff right there.
