That guy at the co-op told me to skip the torque wrench for carbon stems

Two months later my stem slipped on a trail and I cracked my fork. Now I'm out $300 and a weekend because some old head said 'just feel it out'.

Did you at least try to get the co-op guy to pay for it?

Eh, sounds like you skipped the torque wrench, not him.
