Vent: a guy at the shop in Amarillo told me to skip the hub overhaul on a 2019 Trek, and two weeks later the bearings were shot
He swore sealed hubs never need repacking, so I skipped it on a customer's bike and it came back grinding 300 miles later. Any of you actually pull and repack sealed bearings on a schedule, or do you just ride them till they die?

Sealed bearings still get grit in them and that 2019 Trek probably saw some wet rides. I do mine every season on my own bikes, takes 20 minutes and saves the hub. Tell the Amarillo guy he owes you a set of bearings.
