The guy at the U-Haul counter in Tucson said 'you always pack the truck twice' and now I get it
I was picking up a 15 foot truck for my move from Tucson to Albuquerque and the guy behind the counter mentioned he had seen people pack and repack for hours. He said most folks load everything once, stare at it, then tear it all apart and start over. So I planned for it and gave myself a full extra day just for repacking. Turned out to be the smartest thing I did, because my first load was a mess and the second one actually fit. Anyone else find that the second attempt at something big is way better than the first?
