I was reading an old interview with Vince Gilligan from around 2007 and he said the show was pitched to take place in Riverside, California before they switched it to Albuquerque for the tax breaks. Can you picture Walter White cooking in some desert town off the 15 instead of the New Mexico we all know? I brought this up at dinner and my brother in law refused to believe it, so now I need to know if I'm the last person to hear this.
