Binged Succession and The Bear back to back, had to pick a favorite
I finally carved out two weeks off work (fire schedule, you know) and decided to binge both Succession and The Bear. They're both about intense family dynamics and screaming (lol) but in totally different worlds. At first I thought Succession was the better show because it's so smart and the dialogue is insane. But by the end of The Bear's second season, I changed my mind. Something about the kitchen chaos hit closer to home, maybe because I deal with high stress situations daily. Has anyone else struggled to pick between two amazing shows? Which one stuck with you longer?

Buddy of mine from the station went through the exact same thing last month. He was on leave after a rough call and watched Succession first, kept saying how much he loved the backstabbing business stuff. Then he got to The Bear and it hit him different because the kitchen pressure felt like a firehouse with all that yelling and close calls. He told me he couldn't stop thinking about The Bear for a week after, kept comparing our station chaos to the restaurant chaos. Now he's trying to get the whole crew to watch it before shift starts, good luck with that one.
