Found a hidden gem from 1999 called The Lost Room on a random streaming thread

A guy on a bus told me about it after I mentioned being stuck in a binge rut, and I ended up watching all 3 episodes in one sitting last night, anyone else ever grab a show from a stranger's recommendation?

I used to roll my eyes at random recommendations from strangers, but then a guy at a coffee shop told me to watch Dark and I couldn't stop. That Lost Room thing is a solid find, sometimes the weirdest tips are the best ones.

Ngl I had the exact same thing happen with Severance. Some random dude at a bus stop told me I had to watch it and I almost ignored him. But out of boredom I gave it a shot and now I tell everyone I meet about it. Strangers can be weird but sometimes they're the only ones who know about the good stuff. It's like they're all connected through some underground network of hidden gems. Makes you wonder what else you're missing out on by just sticking to the big shows everyone talks about.
