Had to pick between The Wire and The Sopranos for my weekend binge

I finally got around to starting one and went with The Wire first cause everyone says it's the best TV ever made. Three episodes in and I'm kinda bored honestly. Did I pick wrong or does it get better later on?

Ugh I feel you, the first few episodes are a slog. It really picks up after episode 4 or 5 though, so maybe stick with it a little longer? Did you end up switching to The Sopranos?

Bailed on it after episode 3. Felt like I was watching paint dry but with more moody lighting. My attention span isn't what it used to be, guess that's on me.
