I swear The Office went downhill after Michael left...

Rewatching the whole series for the 4th time and the shift around season 7 is brutal. Once Steve Carell was gone by episode 22, the whole feel just changed... it turned into a different show almost overnight. Does anyone else just stop watching after he leaves or was it just me?

Man my buddy Dave tried to get into The Office around season 8 and he had no idea what everyone was talking about... he thought it was just some random workplace comedy. I had to tell him to go back and start from the beginning but he never did. He just moved on to watching Parks and Rec instead which is totally different energy anyway.
