My buddy raved about Dark for 6 months and I finally caved last weekend

I was sure a German sci-fi show with subtitles would be too slow and confusing but after the first 3 episodes I was hooked and now I'm mad I have to wait for season 3 to come stateside - has anyone else been burned by a friend's hype only to have it actually deliver?

Wait what? You're telling me season 3 isn't out in the US yet? I thought it was already done by now. That's rough man, I'd be losing my mind knowing there's more episodes I just can't watch yet. At least you know the payoff is worth it since your buddy was right about the hype.

Just 3 episodes in my friend @logan205 told me "wait till episode 7" and I thought yeah right whatever. Then episode 7 hit and I was pacing my living room. Couldn't sleep that night. The payoff is insane but the wait between seasons is torture.

Same thing happened to me with Dark. My coworker kept saying "just get through episode 3" and I was rolling my eyes until that exact moment when everything clicked. Have you joined the subreddit yet or are you trying to avoid spoilers?
