My wife made me watch a show about a guy who sells fake rocks and I couldn't stop
She put on 'Joe Pera Talks With You' last weekend, and I thought a show about a gentle choir teacher in Michigan sounded boring. I ended up watching the whole first season in one sitting because the quiet humor and weirdly specific details, like a 10 minute bit on grocery store announcements, just hooked me. Has a show you thought would be dumb ever completely won you over?

My brother made me watch a show about a guy who just stares at birds. I thought it was the dumbest idea ever. It was just this quiet dude in a park with binoculars. Ngl, I got way too invested in whether he'd finally see a specific woodpecker.
