Overheard a guy at the coffee shop say he watches shows at 1.5x speed...

He said he finishes a 10-hour series in under 7 hours and still catches all the plot twists... I tried it on the last season of that spy show and honestly, I missed half the dialogue. Does anyone else feel like you lose the pacing that way?

@alice_kim that's exactly what happened to my buddy mark last weekend. He swore he'd just watch the first episode to get a feel for it and then next thing I know he's texting me at 3am asking if I think season 3 is better than season 2. Totally sucked him back in lol.
