Overheard someone say they skip the intro of every show

I was at a coffee shop last week and heard a guy tell his friend he always skips the intro credits. He said it saves him like 5 minutes per episode. Does anyone else watch the whole intro or is that just a waste of time?

Right there with you on this one. I skip most intros too unless the music hits just right or I'm eating and can't be bothered to grab the remote. The time adds up way faster than people think, and I'd rather spend it on the actual show.

That friend at the coffee shop actually changed my mind about this. I used to watch every single intro because I felt like I had to see the credits or it was disrespectful to the creators or something. But then I timed it one day and realized I was wasting like 12 minutes a week on just the Game of Thrones intro alone, and that added up fast. Now I skip through the first 90 seconds of most shows unless the song is really good, like the Peacemaker intro where the dance is part of the experience. It feels weird at first but honestly you get used to it and youdon't miss anything important. The only time I sit through it now is if I'm eating or doing something else with my hands and cant reach the remote.
