Serious question, is Dark really worth the hype or just confusing for the sake of it
Tbh I was skeptical about Dark for a long time. Everyone kept saying it's the best show on Netflix but I'm not big on time travel stuff. Then my buddy loaned me his login and I watched the first three episodes in one night last week. I was lost at first with all the characters but by episode 5 it clicked. The way they weave the 33 year cycles together is legit impressive. Now I'm halfway through season 2 and I can't stop. Has anyone else found it tough to follow at the start?

...and then you realize the whole town is basically one big family tree that makes Game of Thrones look simple. The show definitely earns its hype but it feels like you need a corkboard and red string to keep up sometimes. You enjoying the ride so far or still feeling like you need a spreadsheet?

Three episodes in and I still can't tell if it's deep or just really good at pretending to be.

Honestly I think it's way overhyped. I pushed through season 1 and still didn't care about a single character, all that fake deep sci-fi stuff just feels like homework dressed up as a show.
