Showerthought: I used to skip show intros every time but now I let them play

I remember back in the DVD days I'd click that 'skip intro' button so fast I barely saw the theme. Then around 2020 I started watching Succession and that piano intro just hit different. Now I find myself letting intros play for shows like The Bear or Severance because they set the mood. Anybody else flip on this or is it just me getting old?
