Threw $40 at a hidden gem streaming service and it flopped hard

I signed up for this niche horror streaming site called ScreamBox last month for $7 a month, thinking it'd be loaded with indie gems. The library was 80% straight-to-DVD junk from 2004 and the search function literally broke after three clicks. Did anyone else get burned by one of these tiny streaming services, or is there actually one worth the cash?

Tried that same ScreamBox junk last Halloween. Fell apart after one movie, the player kept buffering every 5 minutes. Ended up watching a grainy copy of 'Zombie Nightmare' with Adam West from 1987, not even the fun kind of bad. Total waste of ten dollars, should have just stuck with Tubi.

Man I swear that's just how everything is now with these niche streaming services. They pop up for one season of the year and run on servers held together with tape and hope. It's like the whole world decided to make everything worse on purpose while charging you for the privilege. Even the big services keep getting worse every update more ads higher prices and buffering like it's 2005 again. What gets me is how nobody even tries to fix stuff anymore they just let it break and move on to the next half baked thing. That ScreamBox thing probably made enough money off hype alone to not care that it crashes constantly. Wouldn't be surprised if next year they just rebrand it as something else and do the same exact scam.

Oh man tell me about it... Zombie Nightmare feels like the ultimate punishment when you're stuck with bad streaming. That Adam West thing is like a fever dream nobody asked for. It's wild how these junk services know exactly when to pop up and vanish before anyone can get a refund.
