Update: That new mystery show's plot holes are driving me crazy

I tried to binge 'Shadow Lake' over the weekend and got so frustrated. Key clues from earlier episodes just disappear without being resolved, and the main suspect changes every other episode. How are we supposed to follow along if nothing adds up? I'm warning anyone thinking of starting it to maybe wait for reviews.

Honestly, the messy clues and suspect swaps in Shadow Lake feel pretty true to life. I've seen police work up close, and it's rarely a clean line from A to B. Sometimes a show trying to be gritty just ends up looking sloppy.

Yikes, my brain is already scrambled from trying to keep my own life straight... no way it can track clues that just vanish. I got so lost after the third suspect swap I started forgetting who the victim was.
