Hit 2,000 knives sharpened on my own stones. Didn't see that coming.
Started counting every blade I put an edge on back in 2019. Just tallied up my logbook last night and it's exactly 2,017 knives. That includes kitchen blades, hunting knives, and some weird custom stuff a guy brought in from a flea market. The number surprised me because I work alone in my garage shop, no social media, no ads. I figured maybe 800 or so, but I guess word of mouth did more than I thought. Has anyone else actually tracked their output like this, or am I just the weird one with the spreadsheet?

My sharpening log only goes back to 2021, and I'm sitting at 1,124 right now. Good on you for keeping it up for that long. I use a simple notebook, not even a spreadsheet, and there are gaps where I forgot to write things down for a month. The flea market stuff is always the wild card, got a rusty old straight razor once that took way more effort than it was worth.
