Remember when anvils went for $50 at farm auctions?

I was at a sale outside Abilene 3 years ago and watched a 150lb Fisher anvil go for $40. Last month same model sold for $600 online. Crazy how scrap prices and the TV shows changed everything. Anyone else seeing the same inflation in your area?

That Fisher went cheap because it had a chipped face, not because prices were normal.

lol sounds like me every time i think i'm getting a deal at a pawn shop. Face value hits different when it's literally the face that's chipped.
