Dropped $140 on a "deluxe" wooden insert for my copy of Gloomhaven and it's basically cardboard garbage
So last month I finally got Gloomhaven and my wife said fine but keep it organized. I went on Etsy and paid $140 for a custom wooden insert from a shop with 500 good reviews. It shows up two weeks later and half the pieces don't even fit the minis without me sanding the slots myself. The dice tray cracked the second time I slid it in the box because the wood is that cheap thin plywood, not the oak the listing showed. I messaged the seller and he told me to just glue it and move on. $140 plus $12 shipping and I could have bought a $20 plastic organizer and been done. Now my box lid sits 2 inches up and my shelf is a mess. Has anyone else gotten burned on these wood inserts or did I just pick the wrong shop?
