I was at the new library branch in Springfield and saw a group of older guys playing a massive war game on a folding table.
It made me realize our hobby is way more visible and accepted now than when I was a kid hiding my rulebooks in math textbooks, so what's the most public place you've ever set up a game?

Set up a full 40k game at a coffee shop once, they let us use the big corner table for hours.

Oh man, I once tried to play a small skirmish game on a tiny airport gate bench... it was a total mess of dropped dice and apologetic looks. We gave up after like ten minutes and just packed it all away. Some places are just not meant for it, you know?
