Rant: I bought the 'pro' version of that magnetic level for $85 and it's worse than my old $20 one.
The magnets are weak and it fell off a header twice, nearly cracking the vial. Anyone have a brand that actually holds on vertical pipe?

Stabila. Their magnets are beasts.

My old Stabila 196 level has held a 2 inch rare earth magnet for 15 years. That thing still grabs onto steel I-beams like it's welded. I've had cheaper levels where the magnets just give up and fall out after a year of job site use. You can feel the difference when it snaps into place.
