That's just like quick fixes always failing long term.

Yeah, that's a rough lesson to learn the hard way. My first handmade notebook came undone because I used the wrong glue too. What kind of adhesive do you use now?

I used to use any glue, but PVA bookbinding glue changed everything for me.
