Oh man, I used to be one of those people who thought you should just let things slide to keep the peace. But then I had this coworker at my old job who would interrupt me every single time I tried to speak in meetings. I finally just said "hey, I wasn't finished" right in the middle of him talking. It was super awkward for like two seconds but honestly it changed everything. He actually stopped doing it after that and I realized I was just enabling bad behavior by staying quiet.
