Hit 100 tapes in my collection, all from thrift stores
I counted my VHS pile last night because I was reorganizing my shelf. 100 exactly, and every single one came from Goodwill or garage sales around Detroit. The surprising part was not the number, it was that 34 of them have some kind of glitch, like a tracking roll or a missing scene edited in from a different source. I started keeping a log of which ones had weird cuts, and now I look for that stuff on purpose. Anyone else track how many of their finds have actual playback errors?
