That VHS copy of The Wicker Man from a flea market in Gary was a different movie entirely
My buddy at the station swore the British cut was the only way to watch it, so I grabbed this beat up tape labeled 'The Wicker Man' for $3 at a stall outside Gary, Indiana. Turned out it was some weird alternate edit with a totally different ending scene and like 40 minutes of extra folk singing, no joke. He laughed his ass off when I told him, said that's the famous 'man who fell to Earth' bootleg that swaps in footage from a 1974 sex comedy. Has anyone else pulled a tape that turned out to be a mashup of two films, or did I just hit the weird jackpot for 3 bucks?
