VHS copy of The Matrix had a whole different ending, still not sure what I saw

Found a beat up tape at a flea market in Pittsburgh for $2. The label said Matrix Reloaded but the movie was the first Matrix with an extra 15 minutes where Neo wakes up in a white room and a guy in a suit tells him he failed the simulation test. Then it cuts back to the phone booth scene like nothing happened. I watched it three times to make sure my player wasn't skipping. Anyone else ever find a tape where the studio clearly dumped a workprint or alternate cut by accident? I've got a capture of it saved on a hard drive, willing to share if someone can ID what version this is.

Man, that takes me back... I had a buddy in college who swore he found a lost Nirvana demo at a garage sale. He paid like forty bucks for this scratched up cassette, no label or anything. He played it for us one night and it was literally just some local band doing a terrible cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" with a kazoo. He kept insisting it was a rare early version, but the kazoo part kinda gave it away. He wouldn't let it go for months, even started carrying it around in a little box. Sometimes you just hear what you wanna hear, I guess.
