Drove 2 hours to a nursery in Santa Rosa for a monstera albo, came home with a $6 rubber plant instead
I had my heart set on a variegated monstera but the cheapest one there was $180 and honestly looked kinda sad. The lady running the place pointed me to a little rubber plant on the clearance rack and told me it'd outlive me, so I grabbed it. Two months in and it's pushed out 4 new leaves, anyone else end up happier with the cheap plant than the one they actually came for?
