Hit 200 propagation trays in my garage and realized I have a problem
I started with 5 trays of succulent cuttings last spring, just to fill some space in my yard. Now I'm at 200 trays stacked on old shelving units, and my wife says the garage smells like a greenhouse threw up in there. The number hit me when I tried to count them for a plant swap and lost track at 180. Anyone else accidentally turn a hobby into a full on nursery operation?

Damn, 200 trays is impressive but yeah, you might have a problem. How many of those trays are you actually going to keep versus just hoarding because it feels wrong to toss a perfectly good cutting?

Man, that perfectly good cutting thing hits way too close to home. I did the same with succulents last year, ended up with like 40 pots and maybe kept 8 of them. The rest just sat there until I finally admitted I was just a plant hoarder with a propagation problem. @phoenix331 you're spot on about the hoarding part, it's like once you've rooted something you feel guilty tossing it. I still have three trays of pothos cuttings from six months ago that I'll probably never pot up. It's a real cycle.
