Hit 50 different plant people in my phone contacts

I was cleaning out my phone and counted everyone I know who grows things. It was exactly 50 people. That includes my neighbor who just has a basil plant, my aunt with the big garden, and a guy from work who talks about his tomatoes. It surprised me because I never set out to know that many plant people. It just happened over time. Now I get more texts about aphids than anything else. Does anyone else have a weirdly high number of plant friends now?

patriciap52 is onto something. My feed is full of people showing off their monsteras like they're newborn babies. They give them names, talk about their growth like it's a report card, and get into fights about the best soil mix. It's a whole personality now. Forgot to water your fiddle leaf fig? That's a public apology post right there.

Remember when people used to just have a sad spider plant in the corner of the kitchen? My neighbor bought a special grow light for her pilea and now she talks about its "sun stress" colors like it's getting a tan. It's a whole new level of care.
