Lost $80 on a 'rare' pitcher plant that was just a weed
I bought a so-called Nepenthes from a flea market in Gary for 80 bucks. Turns out it was a regular swamp plant someone dyed green and glued a fake pitcher onto. It rotted in my kitchen window within two weeks. Anyone else get scammed by those plant vendors who set up tables at random events? Where do you buy carnivorous plants that actually live more than a month?

lol I once paid $60 for a "venus flytrap" that turned out to be a plastic toy with some moss glued on it.
