My prized venus flytrap got sunburned in under 2 hours last weekend

I left it out on the patio thinking a little extra light would be good for it, but that afternoon sun just fried the leaves black before I even finished lunch. Has anyone else accidentally cooked a carnivorous plant before?

Ugh RIGHT. Nobody ever talks about how sometimes your "good intention" is actually just you wanting to feel like a hero without ASKING the other person what they actually need.

Hits way different when you realize the "hero moment" is really just you avoiding an awkward conversation about what they actually need. Makes you wonder how many times I've done that without even noticing.
