Noticed my basil plants leaning toward the window more than usual lately.

I keep my herbs on the sill and they're all tilted to one side now. Found out it's called phototropism and they're chasing the weaker autumn light. Do you adjust your plant spots when seasons change?

Oh man, my kitchen herbs do the same weird lean every year. I got tired of them looking all lopsided, so now I give the pots a quarter turn every time I water them. It sounds like a hassle but it's just a habit now, and they grow way more straight. They still want that light, but at least they don't look like they're trying to escape out the window anymore.

That reminds me of my tomato plants last summer. They started leaning so hard into their cages they almost pulled them over. Funny how everything wants to turn toward the sun.

Hey, I've dealt with that too! My basil used to lean so bad it almost fell over, so I started turning the pots a little each day. It made a big difference, and now they stand up pretty straight. I also moved them to a spot with more even light, but regular turning is the key, for sure.
