Back in 2008, I used to sit with three paper catalogs from Burpee and Johnny's, circling varieties with a red pen for a whole evening before ordering. Now I find myself cross-checking five browser tabs and reading forum threads about this one heirloom tomato's blight resistance at 11pm on a Tuesday. Anyone else miss the smell of those pages, or is the instant info worth losing that quiet ritual?
