PSA: my monstera put out 4 new leaves in 6 weeks after I moved it 3 feet from the window

Three feet really is the magic number for these guys. Mine was sitting like 8 feet back in a dark corner for a year doing nothing, and the second I slid it right up near the glass it started pushing out leaves like crazy. Light is basically the whole game with monsteras, all the fertilizer and fancy soil in the world won't do much if they're stuck in a dim spot.
