Rant: I thought talking to your plants was total nonsense

My wife started doing it with her fiddle leaf fig in Denver. The thing actually perked up after a month of her chatting at it while watering. Anyone else have a plant that seems to respond to noise?

Honestly, same. My peace lily always does better when I keep it in the kitchen where we talk all the time. Maybe it's just the extra carbon dioxide from us being nearby.

Ever notice how plants in restaurants near the speaker systems always look healthier than the ones in quiet corners? Maybe certain frequencies actually help them. I've got a snake plant that started pushing out new leaves after I put it next to my subwoofer. Could be coincidence but it's been three months now.
