Hot take: marking my courses with a lumber crayon beat my chalk line for this one wall
Was laying a long garden wall in Salem last month and the string kept getting knocked every time I set a brick near it. Grabbed a red lumber crayon from the truck and just drew the course line right on the block below, saved me at least 20 minutes of re-snapping. Anyone else skip the line for short runs or is that just asking for trouble on longer walls?
