Wasted $150 on a "moisture resistant" mortar that failed after 2 weeks

Bought a whole pallet of that expensive moisture-block mortar from a supplier in Phoenix and now the retaining wall I built is crumbling because it didn't bond right. Anybody else get burned by a specific brand of mortar that just didn't hold up?

Ngl, did you let it cure properly in the heat?

Yeah moisture lock mortar is a joke in dry heat, you gotta wet the blocks first or it won't bond.
